Main Session - Introduction to the Spring Framework
Speakers: Ryan Bohn and Bill Kratzer of Versatile Systems.
Bill Kratzer and Ryan Bohn have been working with Java and Versatile Systems for many years. They both focus on the design and development of enterprise applications in the Java space. They have both deployed several applications on top of the Spring Framework (and enjoyed almost every minute of it).
Abstract:
- The Spring Framework is a lightweight, non-intrusive application development framework designed to simplify and reduce the cost of building Java applications.
- Dependency Injection is a core feature of the Spring Framework and allows developers to define "wirings" for software component dependencies that are managed by Spring.
