Abstract:
WebSphere Application Server V6.1 includes many improvements and new
features, including support for the Java 5.0 SDK, a new Java Virtual
Machine, support for portlets and Session Initiation Protocol applications,
numerous enhancements to installation, system management and security, as
well as support for new Web Services specifications. This discussion will
provide an overview of the new features and enhancements in WebSphere
Application Server version 6.1, and
explain many of the benefits provided in this release. With this knowledge
you can better understand the improved usability and new capabilities of
WebSphere Application Server version 6.1. This presentation assumes that
you are already familiar with the capabilities and features of WebSphere
Application Server V6.0. |
