Abstract:
Complex event processing is being hailed as a new paradigm of computing. CEP, as it is commonly
referred to, enables interrogation of multiple streams of data and generation of dynamic, heuristic
based events. The beauty in this is that patterns can be identified across seemingly unrelated data
streams. A simple Java application will be used during this presentation to illustrate key CEP concepts,
constructs and features.
7:30 pm Open Q&A
8:00 pm Meeting Adjournment
